Technical Skills Required:
- Strong experience with Microsoft-based application development technologies: .NET Framework 2.x and above, ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET, ASP, IIS, and SQL Server 2000/2005/2008
- Strong web development skills utilizing HTML, DHTML, XHTML, CSS, XML, Javascript, AJAX, etc.
- Strong experience using Visual Studio 2008 or 2010
- Experience building client/server applications using Visual Basic or alternate scripting technology is a plus
- Experience with other relational databases (MS SQL, Oracle, DB2, MySQL, etc.) is a plus
- Experience with open source technologies: PHP, MySQL, and LINUX is a plus
Responsibilities Include:
- Requirements gathering, scoping, design, and development of new web-based applications
- Monitoring, supporting, and enhancing existing solutions to ensure high levels of service and availability
- Learning, promoting, and implementing new technologies that improving existing processes and applications
- Working closely with clients to understand their business process and build custom software solutions tailored to their unique business needs
- Effective communications skills and strong analytical skills are required
